With over twenty-five years as part of senior management, Phil is an experienced hands-on entrepreneurial executive of computerized transportation information services and software development companies. He has managed all accounting, SEC reporting, finance, human resources, and legal & administrative functions. He is experienced in bank and investor relations, insurance and cash management. He has also managed operations, sales, marketing, and training functions.
Phil joined Teldata Control, a computerized telecommunications services company providing for the audit and processing of the telecommunication costs of large companies, in December 2000 as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel. He was responsible for finance, administration, legal, and human resources through August 2004, whereupon the Company merged. He served thereafter as General Counsel of the renamed company, Control Point Solutions, through December 2005.
Previously, Phil served as Vice President with the American Arbitration Association, where he had overall operating, financial, marketing, sales, and administrative responsibility for its New Jersey Office. The operations included the procedures and personnel needed for processing high volume legal claims - 20,000 plus - as well as conducting training and outreach programs to the legal and business community. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Corporate Secretary with two growing entrepreneurial companies: Computron Software – now AXS-One, a public international software development company offering enterprise-wide financial and information applications; and Numerax, a private transportation and financial services company providing for the audit and processing of the freight invoices of large companies, subsequently part of McGraw-Hill.
Phil is a Certified Public Accountant and an Attorney, and has been an Arbitrator with both NASD and the American Arbitration Association, and is a trained Mediator. He has served as both Chairman and Panel Member for disputes involving contractual, securities, employment, and other corporate matters. He also holds an MBA in Management of Human Resources. Phil teaches Business Law and Principles of Accounting at Community College of Morris in New Jersey.
